GTR Environmental Policy 2025

Etopia Training is committed to minimising its environmental impact and promoting sustainability in all aspects of its operations. As a training company, we recognise the importance in setting a precedent on how to sustainably run an organisation to protect our environment for future generations. Our environmental policy outlines our commitment to sustainability and serves as a guide for our employees, partners, and stakeholders.

Our Objectives;

  1. Compliance with Environmental Laws and Regulations

Etopia Training is committed to complying with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards. We will regularly monitor environmental legislation, such as the 2021 Environmental Act, and other legislation such as the 2010 Equality Act and 2015 Modern Slavery Act and ensure that our operations consistently meet or exceed requirements.

  1. Resource Consumption

We strive to minimise our resource consumption and promote efficiency in our daily operations. This includes reducing energy and water usage, minimising waste generation, and optimising the use of materials. Etopia Training will implement practices that prioritise the responsible use of resources wherever possible to minimise our environmental footprint.

  1. Waste Reduction and Recycling

Etopia Training will actively promote waste reduction and recycling initiatives. We will provide appropriate facilities and signage for recycling and encourage employees and customers to participate in programs aimed at minimising waste, reusing materials, and recycling whenever possible.

  1. Sustainable Procurement

We will consider environmental factors in our procurement decisions, giving preference to suppliers and products with environmentally friendly practices. Etopia Training will collaborate with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability and actively seek opportunities to source products and services responsibly.

  1. Energy Efficiency

Etopia Training will continuously strive to improve energy efficiency in our facilities. We will continue to explore and implement energy-saving technologies, promote responsible energy consumption practices among employees, and seek ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

  1. Employee Engagement and Training

We recognise the importance of engaging and educating our employees on environmental issues. Etopia Training will incorporate an internal training program to raise awareness and promote environmentally responsible behaviour. We encourage employees to actively participate in our sustainability initiatives and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our environmental performance.

  1. Continuous Improvement

Etopia Training is dedicated to regularly reviewing and improving our environmental performance. We will set measurable environmental objectives and targets, monitor our progress, and adjust our practices accordingly. We welcome feedback from employees, partners, and stakeholders to continually enhance our environmental management efforts.

By adhering to this environmental policy, Etopia Training aims to play a responsible role in preserving the environment while providing high-quality business skills training. We believe that sustainability is integral to our success and the well-being of our planet.
